I have been playing the guitar for 35 years. I still enjoy playing (though I don't play as often as I used to) and I listen to a lot of different music.

I strongly identify with an essay written by Paul Graham which (I feel) explains why the same part of me that enjoys playing music enjoys programming.

I am also interested in music as a cognitive process which can be modeled on a computer by an AI Agent.
